Allow me to introduce myself. I'm an experienced software engineer. I'm sometimes available for contract software development work and general problem-solving in the UNIX arena. If you have a problem and need some help, contact me.
Perhaps the best way to introduce myself is to show you some of the things that interest me.
First on the list is system software for the Internet, and that means BSD.

If you're particularly interested in security.
Your productivity is not enhanced by the computer when you're sitting there in front of it, helping it along every step of the way. Productivity improvement comes from automation, not from interaction.
If you want to measure productivity improvement, simply measure the time you spend sitting at the computer and compare it to the time you spend sleeping, eating, drinking, visiting with friends, making love, learning and teaching. If you're spending more time at the computer now than you did before, I submit that your productivity has not been enhanced.
